The Jabsco 50890 Series is a diaphragm waste pump with 1-1/2 Inch ID hose barb ports, coupled to a 12 or 24 Volt DC Motor. This super quiet and compact pump has a straight-through waste path that easily passes solids in suspension, making it the ideal solution for emptying holding tanks. Self-priming up to 10 feet (3m) and capable of extensive dry running, it provides a 5 GPM (19 LPM) output.  The multi-positional pump head offers a variety of installation options. If mounted vertically the motor should be above the pump head. Use rubber grommets provided to absorb vibration.

Plumbing Connections: Use 1-1/2 Inch ID, non-collapsible waste type suction hose.

Connect the hose to inlet and outlet of pump using two stainless steel hose clamps at both ends. All suction connections must be airtight and free of sharp bends or restrictions. The dc motor on this pump unit is suitable for intermittent duty and should not be run for more than 30 minutes continuously. Handles sink, shower and black waste. Robust single diaphragm design mechanical parts shrouded for safety.
