Lecomble & Schmitt Steer by Wire Hydraulic Cylinder/Linear sensor
The VHM DTP cylinders are highly beneficial for twin rudder installation where a mechanical tie bar cannot be installed. Each cylinder is fitted with a linear sensor which feeds position data back to a PLC which adjusts the rudder alignment when required automatically. These cylinders are to be used in conjunction with Lecomble & Schmitt’s 540° electric helm and DEC ECO hydraulic power packs.
